Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva
Personality:
Luke's a kindhearted boy, who desires to follow in the footsteps of Professor Hershel Layton and become a British gentleman just like his mentor. Being a bright and clever boy, he often takes careful notes of clues and even takes the initiative to solve complicated puzzles and riddles. From time to time, he has the tendency of being cheeky, especially towards a person he sees as rude. He usually speaks his mind freely, which gets him scolded by Layton. Also being a bit of a risk-taker, Luke occasionally dives head-first into danger to help someone else. A good example of this is when Melina was close to falling off Descole's giant rampaging machine, and Luke convinced the Professor to let him on board said dangerous machine to save her. This leads to Luke scaling the thing upwards to where Melina was, jumping from hanging cables, managing to keep himself from falling off one of the spinning blades, and even leaping across a large gap to Melina as a giant drill was headed in his direction.
After Layton solves the mystery occurring in Luke's hometown and saving the day, Luke takes it upon himself to make himself Layton's apprentice. Luke idolizes and greatly respects the Professor, even before they meet face-to-face. When the events of Professor Layton and the Last Specter started to occur, it was Luke who actually sent a letter to the Professor for help because of his distrust of the adults in his own hometown, especially his father. And seeing the Professor unravel the mystery caused Luke to earn even more respect and admiration for the Professor. After insisting on becoming Layton's apprentice, Luke takes his self-proclaimed apprenticeship very seriously, even becoming defensive if someone questions his apprenticeship. But despite that, Luke tends to be very curious about the world around him, always inquisitive and constantly asking questions. Much like his mentor, he also shares Layton’s love for puzzles, but not to the extreme that Layton does.
Like most kids his age, Luke tends to have an overactive imagination. He gets scared by ghosts and other spooky things that would usually scare a child, and depending on the environment he‘s in, he‘ll be more jumpy and easily startled. He’s also a little naïve, especially about adult matters. Unlike the Professor, he lets his emotions show more often. He’ll lose his temper or become easily shocked by something. Or if something angers him, he'll let it show, even calling someone out on their actions if he doesn't approve of them. And as adult-like as he tries to be, sometimes he'll give into certain child-like temptations.
He loves animals, and has the ability to communicate with them. If he sees an animal, he’ll usually stop whatever he’s doing to greet it. Whether or not the animal reacts kindly to him is a different matter, because sometimes the animal will lash out at him no matter how nice he is to it. Nonetheless, he’ll always try to reach out to an animal that needs help.
Powers & Abilities: Aside from being very talented at solving puzzles, Luke can also talk to animals.
What items will they be bringing with them to Discedo? Nothing but his clothes!

This wasn't London.
This didn't look anything like London. The last thing he remembered before he woke up here was that he and the Professor were heading home after solving yet another fantastic mystery. But this place? Well it certainly looked like a city, but it was all broken down and it looked like no one else was around aside from him. It takes a minute for the shock to wear off before panic starts to set in. What happened? He didn't remember anything strange happening beforehand. Was this another trick by Descole?
...Where was he?
"Professor...? Emmy?"
He could hear the occasional footstep, and the sound of growling in the distance. It was enough to send the boy onto his feet and scrambling around to see where the noise was coming from. He raises his voice, trying to sound as intimidating as possible. What comes out, is the very squeaky voice of a little boy.
"I-if this is some sort of joke, you just better come out now! I mean it, I'm not afraid of you!"
This naturally was a lie, as Luke was more then afraid right now. Being supposedly alone in a dark, scary-looking place with what sounded like wild animals running about. Luke looks around nervously, the realization dawning on them that shouting in a dark, scary-looking place probably wasn't the best of ideas and that he needed to find the Professor fast. Somehow. Trying to not let his fear get the best of him, he quickly scurries down the street. He just had to stay calm, that's what the Professor always says. Gentlemen were always calm.
Though he wonders if gentlemen would also be scared if they ended up in an mysterious abandoned city like this. Before he can think too long about it, he hears a howl in the distance. Okay, forget being a gentleman, Luke was scared and needed to get out of here. Now. Seeing a building right up the road, he dashes towards it in hope that he could find the Professor, or at least someone else here besides him.
...Hopefully someone friendly.

H-hello? Can anyone hear me? My name's Luke Triton, I'm looking for Professor Hershel Layton. I'm his apprentice, and I think I may have gotten a bit lost somehow...
This doesn't look like London at all, or anywhere I've been for that matter! Hello, hello?! Someone please answer me! Professor, if you're there please tell me where you are! ...Or where I am, for that matter.
...W-were those howls just now? There aren't any wolves here, are they?
